Bullionwale's published rate is not live, fresh and trading right now, so the figures shown are our stored reference rates rather than a live quote.

That figure is fine metal at the gold rate. A coin carries a making charge on top of it, so the coin prices further down are the ones you would actually pay.
From the rate to a coin.
The same arithmetic the desk below performs, drawn out: what the rate is, what an amount is in fine metal, and why a coin costs more than the metal in it.

The fine-gold rate
Working today · Reference rate
Bullionwale's published rate is not live right now, so this is our stored reference rate. It carries no timestamp and it is not today's price.
Divide the rupees by the rate and you have the fine metal that sum buys. This is metal only — it is not the price of anything you can hold.
Gold is sold struck, at the weights Coins & Bars actually lists. The coin below is a real row from the catalogue at its real current price.
The gap between the metal value and the coin price is our making charge, applied once. It is the whole difference, and it is never folded into the rate above.
Buying asks you to sign in and returns you here with your amount intact — but online ordering is switched off, so nothing is charged, reserved or recorded.
An illustration of this page’s own arithmetic, using the rate shown above and a real coin from the catalogue. Nothing here is an offer, and no figure is reserved.

How this price is built
Bullionwale's published buy rate
We read Bullionwale's published live buy rate for gold. It already includes Bullionwale's own margin.
Rebased to the coin's purity
The quoted rate is for 999 gold, not our purity. The rate is converted to the purity the coin actually declares, so a 22K coin is never priced off the 24K rate.
Multiplied by the weight
In integer paise, milligrams and parts per million. No floating-point arithmetic touches money anywhere in this shop.
Our premium, applied once
Our premium is added on top of that rate, once. It is the difference between the metal value above and the coin price below.
The figure on a coin is confirmed on our server before any payment is raised, so what you are charged is never a number your browser supplied. The whole sequence.
Gold, in the catalogue.
Refine by purity, weight, occasion or budget. Real coins, at the price they carry right now — every figure comes from the same query the catalogue uses, so nothing here is a gold-page-only number.

Nothing matches all of those at once
Every filter above is real, so some combinations genuinely have no coin behind them. Removing one usually brings the range back.
